ABOUT KRYSTEN

Krysten began moonlighting as an actress while she was working as a corporate lawyer at a well-known and not-to-be-named investment bank.  About five minutes into her first acting class, she realized that her life and career was about to change drastically.  After a year of study, she decided to take the plunge to pursue acting full time, when a twist of fate offered her the opportunity to first spend 8 months traveling around the world, a trip she blogged about (along with her husband) at http://ourlostweekend.wordpress.com/.

After returning from her travels, Krysten continued to pursue her craft at T.Schreiber Studio, where she studied under Bob Verlaque, Suan Pilar and Page Clements, and also hit the theater scene, where she was thrilled to work with the Michael Chekhov Theater Company and most recently with the LAByrinth Theater Company in the Ensemble Workshop.  Under the tutelage of LAB company members Shira-Lee Shalit, Padraic Lillis, Webb Wilcoxen and Scott Hudson, she expanded her studies to the disciplines of playwriting, directing and storytelling.

An avid traveler, reader, coffee-drinker and lover-of-champagne, Krysten hopes to convince the world to stop saving the bubbly for special occasions.  Drink it now!  She is currently pursuing projects in theater, film and television, and is excited to see where her acting career will take her.
